HOMING
The New Plymouth East Flying Club leld a i-ace from Aramoho, a distance of 83 miles, yesterday, under favorable circumstances. The birds were kindly lib.crated at 12 noon by tlie.stationmastcr, and ail homed in good time. Forty birds, representing eight lofts, competed in the event, with the following result:— A. Lovcgrovc's Deceiver, lhr 4(imin 25scc, 1; W. 11. Boulton's Shamrock' an.l Frisco, lh r 47min, 2; C. R. Wright's Mercury, lhr 48min, 3; W. Glceson's King, lhr 4!)min, 4. The next race will be a flock race from Auckland, the birds being sent per s.s. Rarawa last night.
