The secretary of the New Zealani Rowing Association has received won that tie distance for the four-oarec inter-State race at Hobart on Februan 23rd will be three miles. The prizes will be a shield and five gold medals The carnival committee will give a con tribution towards the expenses of visiting crews. The Picton Regatta Committee has agreed to make the date of the champion regatta January 22 or January 24, in consequence of the opposition to January as at first suggested.
