EGMONT SHOW
The annual show of the Egmont Agricultural and Pastoral Association, which is fixed for the 24th and 25th November, at Hawcra, promises to bo a most successful one this year, and only fine weather will be required to -make it one of the best shows ever held tliore. The schedule, which has been circulated amongst members and probable exhibitors, provides a very liberal supply of prizes in all classes of Cattle, Sheep, Horses, Pigs, llome Industries, and Produce, etc. Cattle and Horse classes have very attractive prizes and entries should be well up to the standard of previous years, .lumping and Hunters' competitions appeal to sportsmen as well as the . public, and valuable prizes are offered in these sections. On Saturday, 6th November, entries close for the home industries portion of the show. Last year there were close 011 500 entries alone in this department. The prize money is liberal again this year, and with the advent of many additional classes there are numbers of various sections to suit all and sundry. Children's classes arc well catered for, and strong entries are anticipated in this department. Intending exhibitors arc again reminded tint entries for home industries close with the secretary on Saturday next, Otli November at 9 p.m. Schedules gt-ving full details are still obtainable from the secretary free of cost.
