Following is the Rev. Bates' summary and forecast:—The weather has been generally warm and humid, gloomy and ■wet In the far north on Saturday, but Pile in most other parts. Westerly Tfinde increased on Sunday, with rain, especially in the south, where an area of low pressure controlled the weather. The present indications are for rain in all parts of the country, show on the higher levels, and colder weather generally, Strong southerly winds rising in 4lie south, and westerlies, changing to SOutherlies, elsewhere shortly.
