'I he local factory (Tarurutanyi) is now turning out over <ix boxes' dai.'v, ihe output now living larger than at any time la>( season. If the roads in l!': district were better the number of <;ij>pliers would considerably increase, a* at present, owing to the diflicultv «»f conveying Hi.- milk to the factory a number of settlers an- compelled to manufacture their own butter. A start is shortly to be made wi';h buiiding the dam at the new factory. It will, however, probably be next Reason before butter is nmde at the new lactory.
