TAP.AXAKI RUGBY UNION. A meeting of the management committee of the Taranaki Rugby Union w;»s held at Stratford on Thursday evening, when there were present: Messrs Cargill (chairman), J. Clarka, fiareia, Crombie, Malone, McLeod, and Skoglund, secretary. The secretary submitted a draft bal-anre-sbeet of the season's operations, showing a credit of £6O. The -year commenced with a "balance of about £2O n-Ht, and considering the amount of travelling done by the representative team, which played at Wanganui, Palmerston North, Wellington. Napier, Auckland and Paeroa, at considerable expense. the result was considered very i satisfactory. A subcommittee conaisiing of the chairman, secretary, Messrs. Malone and McLeod was set up to rejpovt to the annual meeting of delegates I the form the Bayley me/norinl in the Recreation Sports Ground should take.
