TRADES AND LABOR CONFERENCE By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Thursday. The Trades and Labor Conference car. Ned with acclamation a motion conveying its hearty approval and moral support to Mr. Lloyd-George, Chancellor of t.io Exchequer, in his courageous effort to bring about better conditions in the Motherland and expressing its sincere hope that his efforts will be crowned with the success desired by all lovers of humanity. The conference'also approved of the general principle embodied in Mr. | Guinness' National Insurance Scheme. The conference by twenty-two votes I in two adopted a motion that the time had arrived when the Trades and Labor Councils should take definite action in endeavoring to return Labor members to Parliament.
