Hoi way, who was apparently beaten at half-way, spurted in the last twenty \anls and won liy a foot. The time 'was U%scc. Postle stated that the heavy track, owing to rain, was dead against him.
In March last Postle defeated Day in the 200 yards sprinting championship of the worid in 23sec. Since then lie twice defeated Day,"once again in a 220 yards race which he ran in 2350e.. and in a 410 yards race which he accomplished in 41 3-jscc.
