BIG ADVANCE IN PRICES. At Mr. Newton Kind's wool, hide ami ekiji sale held at Stratford yesterday, there was a marked advance in prices. All hides advanced %<1 per lb. Calfskins reached up to Is per lb, which price, establishes a record for the Dominion. Following are the* prices obtained:—Farmers' cow 6d, light fid to 7d. medium Od to 7%d, heavy 6d to 7>/ 4 d; ox, light (id to Id, medium dy 2 d to 7%d, extra heavy lip to 7'/ 2 d; calf, firsts Oil to Is, seconds (gocd) 8d to 93, thirds 7d to Bd, cuts Cd to 7*/ 2 d, slinks Gd to 7'/»d; yearlings' &'/a& to 7d; butchers' sheepskins to Od: crossbred, coarse G'/id to 7V»d, fine B>i<l to 9d; salted coarse crossbreds 4s to 7« each, fine crossbreds up to lis.
