IXGLEWOOD CLUB. With the approach of summer thu dub's competitions are Hearing completion. The ladies' championship has been won by Mrs. W. Matthews, who in the final defeated Mrs. Gault 7 up and 5 to play. In the semi-finals of the men's championship Law defeated Crombie 7 up and 6 to play, and Thomas won from Thomson i up. Law and Thomas will ■meet in the final during next week. The ladies' handicap stroke competition for the gold medal presented by Dr. Gault was completed on Thursday, when Mrs. Bennett (handicap 6} defeated Mrs. Matthews, the net scores being 120 and 130 respectively. In th? semi-finals of the men's handicap for Dr. Gault'e medal, Thomson defeated Gudgeon, and Biernacki has yet to meet Thomas. The final will be played nest week, the winner of the latter pair meeting Thomson. —Record.
