Tho Builders' Conference adopted r» solution declaring that oompuUoyf conciliation and arbitration had failed to settle disputes, and favoring the; principle of mutual conciliation with an equal representation on both sides. Mr. Bennett recorded his opposition to the first resolution. He said that Conciliation Boards had settled a number of disputes in New Zealand. UNIFORM ARTICLES OF AGREEMENT. Articles of agreement are In be revised by the New South Wales Association ami forwarded to the various SUtee and New Zealand, with a view to their general adoption and adaptation to local conditions and legislation.
