In the French Senate, 11. Pivhon, Minister for Foreign Affairs', refused to per» mit an interpellation regarding Ferrer, Brussels, October 20.
Disorderly scenes occurred in the Belgian Chamber owing to the Socialist! trying to interpellate the Government in connection with Ferrer. A CHRISTOHURCH PROTEST.

At a meeting of Socialists held in' Christeliureh Inst evening, the following motion wns unanimously carried: "That this meeting of Christeliureh Socialists expresses its indignation at the dastardly murder committed by Hie Spanish Government in the execution of Comrade Ferrer."
