_ .. A reminder is given, of the Avenue Road Card Club's euchre party and dance, to be held this evening in the Brougham Street Hall. The committee has spared no effort in making the arrangements, and Special attention has been directed to the supper department. The prizes offered for the tournament are on a very liberal scale. As this is probably the last social of the season there should, weather permitting, be a good attendance. Anticipating a very busy season Ambury Bros, are now displaying a very extensive assortment of daily requirv ments for men, women, and childr n. No matter what kind of drapery, clothing, millinery, etc., the customer- may require, Ainbury's store is pledged to give satisfaction. Several •new models are showing in the millinery room at White and Sons'. The near approach of the busy festive.! season -will see the opening of many newer styles than were obtainable at the beginning of the season. Dressmaking is in full swing and orders may now be booked for Christmas.—Advt,
