NO GAMBLE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christelmrch, Wednesday. Jas. Savage, licensee of the Boyal Hotel. Amberley, was charged with permitting gambling in his hotel. A bil Hard tournament was held there, prizes for which were given by outsiders. There was no entrance fee or subscription paid by the competitors. Mr. Cassidy, for the licensee, took the point that to constitute gambling there must be both winning and losing, bnt here no one could lose anything. Mr. Bailev, S.M., opheld the contention and dismissed the case.
