WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Frew Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' weather summary and forecast:—Low pressure of monsoonal type has prevailed over the North Island with the lowest temperature off East Cape, causing strong winds with cold and damp weather, especially on the East Coast of the the North Island. High pressure in the South has given pla 1 :? to a westerly low pressure system, with freshening northerlies. Present indications are for unsettled we»ther generally; winds clanging by south to westward over the North Island, with a slight rise in barometer preceding a further fall, and northerly and westerly winds over the South Island. Glass will probably fall low ra the South and the weather be stormy for a few days. I
