By Telegraph.—Pres* Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is Kev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast:—The weather has been humid and cloudy over the North Island and unsettled and stormy in the southern districts. Moderate northerly winds nave prevailed in. the north and strong westerlies elsewhere. The present indications' are fo r rain in most parts of the country. Strong westerly and southwesterly winds will prohahly prevail, and although there ar» some indications of a storm area developing to the north-east of New Zealand, the barometer will rise soon everywhere.
