FERRER'S EXECUTION.

Genoa is in darkness, the trams ar • stopped, and the newspapers arc not appearing. Demonstrations have been mud- at the Spanish consulates in several Italian towns.
The working classes' at Buenos Ayres propose to boycott Spanish steamer.' goods. Ten thousand people, headed by Jarres and members of Ferrer's defence committee, made a demonstration at the Spanish Embassy in Paris. The crowd tried to break through the police cordon. They set fire to two moto* busses. Revolvers* were tired and one. aimed at M. Lepine, Prefect oi Police, killed a gbndkirme. Ilnttlly the police cleared the streets with drawn swords.
Another gendarme was killed, and six demonstrators were injured.
Ferrer founded a modern school at Barcelona, noted for its anti-Monarch-isb and anti-Clerical teachings and anarchist mornls. Among liis pupils Ferrer was generally regarded a» a philanthropist and dreamer, not a conspirator. The court martial'* judgment was unanimous, and the Council of War and cabinet endorsed it unanimously. The Pope regrets the execution, and fears it will encourage anti-Clericalisffl. The majority of the Paris rtotm were .hooligans of the lowest class, anl not interested in Ferrer. Fifty "wii* arrested.

Monte Video, Oct 14 A great demonstration was made at Monte Video before the Spanish Legation, and had to lie dispersed. Leghorn, Oct. 14 The workmen of Leghorn threaten to boycott Spanish goods. Madrid, Oct. 14 A member of the Spanish Cabinet lias declared that Ferrer was the actual instigator of the Barcelona riota. STRIKES CONTINUE. Received 18, 0.15 a.m. Rome, Octo'oe-r 15. The strike* in sympathy for Ferrar continue in several Italian towns. A bomb explosion took place in Barcilona, but it proved harmless.
