The death is announced of Mrs. Floyi, senior, an old resident of Huntervi'lle, •aged ninety-two, she leaves six sons ■and three daughters Messrs. James Floyd, of I'ohonui, George, of Inglewoo.l, Henry, now of England, Charles, of Nclson. Thomas, of llawke's Bay, and Fred, of Hunterville, Mrs. James Wall, of Porirua, and Mrs. William Hundley, of Nukumani forty-eight grandchildren, forty-five yreat-grandchildren. and two grcat-greatgrandchildrc.-i. The old lady arrived in. Wellington with her husband, the late Mr. Thomas Floyd, in 1841, who was the first gaoler there; afterwards (hey kept an hotel in Porirua for u number of vears.
