LONDON MARKETS. London, October 11. The wheat nnd Hour afloat totals 1.585.000 quarters. The Continent amounts to 1,885,000 quartern and Pacific 100,000 quarters. The total shipments to Europe during the week total 1.080,000 quarters. There were no Argentine shipments.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from the London house, under date lltli inst.:— Mutton market slightly better; lamb market firmer; beef market ha* upward tendency.

HIDE AND SKIN REPORT. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sale of wool, skins, and hides yesterday, when they offer J d a good catalogue of all classes to the usual attendance of buyers. Prices were as follows:
