Earl Crewe (Secretary of State for the Colonies) stated that if certain of the Lords' amendments were eventually - included, the Government would not proewtd with the measure.
THE MINERS' VOTE. Received October 12, 10.20 p.m. London, October 12. The Northumberland miners' election committee have taken steps which will deprive. Messrs. Burt and Fenwick of the miners' vote. They will therefore have to stand as Liberals.
