Several months ago, it will he remembered, Sir James Mills informed a representative of the Sydney Morning Herald tliat his company intended to obtain anotiier vessel for the intercolonial trade similar in design to the Mamma, hut larger. A well-informed English shipping paper, writing under date August 23. states that the I'niin Steamship Company of New Zealand will shortly be in the Home market 'or a new steamer. Doubtless this report refers to the new liner that, was foreshadowed by Sir .Tames Mills.
