Sir (liiirles Lucas (of the Colonial Office) lias returned from his lour of Australia and New Zealand. Interviewed, he expressed himself as lioing grcatlv' struck with the obvious desire of the Governments and people of the Common wealth and the dominion of New Zealand to co-operate with the Mother Count y iu matters of common interest, and with the great resources wliicli will make co operation of constantly growing value. He hoped his personal visit would h ■ the forerunner of other Colonial Office trips.
