The New Plymouth East Flying Clun held a most successful race from Wellington on Sanirday, to decide the winner of 'The Kash" tiqhy, kindly presented 'by Mr. W. H. Broo'me. The favorable weather existing allowed tin' birds to register faster time than the recorded time of Thursday last. Thirty, five birds, representing seven lofts, competed in the event, and the majority of the birds homed on the day of libera tion. The velocity of the winner was 942 yds per minute. The following were til e placed birds:—ll. .1. Moverley's "Orcti." shr 40min, 1; W. 11. Boulton's "All Black," ahr 4ff'/ 2 min, 2; C. It. Whight's ".Mercury," shr 48min lOsec, a. The club's next race will eventuate on Thursday next from Frankton Junction.
