ALLEGED DIAMOND SMUGGLER. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, October 0. George Hcim, the alleged diamoud smuggler, committed suicide in a prison infirmary. Deceased, lately inspector for a German company in Damaraland (German Africa), was arrested in Berlin, and was charged, along with accomplices now arrested in South Affricn, with smuggling £15,000 worth of diamonds into Germany. The correspondence showed that they discovered 5i i la r;J: ta ™S deposits in reveal their location.
