WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Frew Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is the Rev. D. C. Bati>s r summary and forecast:—Northerly and westerly windb (hare given way to strong "southerlies on all the western coasft and over most parts of the North Island during the early hours, and th= weather has generally improved as the day advanced. The barometer has risen steadily in the north and slowly in the south." The present indications are foa steepening of the barometric gradients, causing strong westerly winds generally and freshening shortly to a gale south of Kawhia and Castlc-point. The weather will probably be squalh and changeable, particularly on t'.ie west coast.
