SYDNEY WOOL SALES. Received 5, 11.55 p.m. Sydney, October '. The wool sales were resumed to-daV. There was a big attendance and brisk bidding and a firm market, the latter being equal to the best rates of In it sales. LOXDOX WOOL SALES. Dalgety and Co., Cut., report lyivin« received the following cable from their London house, under date of the 1-t inst.: Wmd -ales dnscd linn. As comiiarnd with the closing rates of last series supe r merino wools are 10 per com. to 15 per cent, higher; crossbred wools of line quality are 10 per cent, high r and crossbred wools of medium linil coarse quality 10 to 15 per cent, higher. The total 'net quantity nvaiTab:" amounted to 1)8,000 bales (including Klil'l bales not offered in the July sales'), and of this 0000 luilcfi were sold to America. 50.000 bales were sold for liome consumption, 32.000 bales to the Continent, leaving 4000 bales to be carried forward to November series.
