STORMY WEATHER PREDICTED. By Telegraph.—Prew Association. Welington, Last Night. The Rev. Bates reports tbat.au -v tensive area of low pressure from tin. westward is now spreading over the country, and will proßably cause very unsettled weather everywhere during the i early part of this week. A fall of nearly h&li-an-inch in pressure and a N.S.W. moderate gale is reported at ine Bluff. The winds have changed to the Northward and are freshening over the North Island.: A N.W. gale has prevailed at Wellington since midnight. Heavy northerly and westerly win la and squalls with rain are probable everywhere, especially on the West Coast aDd in Cook Straits.
