BLOCKS MISSION.
A very successful but unambitious Kale of Mwrk Ki aid of the backblocks mission was held yesterday afternoon and evening in St. Mary's Hall. The function was organised, by the ladies of the congregation, Misses Godfrey acid Hempton taking a leading part, and be- ' ing actively assisted by willing lady helpers. The stallholders were as' follow:—Afternoon tea, Hiss (iodfrcy, with a bevy of young ladies as attendants; work'stall,* Mrs. Evans. Misses Wood and Hempton; refreshments, Missis Mace and Curtis; art and fancy stall, Misses McKellar. Marshall, and Evans; 1 bran tub, Miss Rennud; sweets, Misses Glasgow.
