THE LAURA AT NEWCASTLE. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Sydney September 28. The Coalowners' Association denies that the Laura was refused a cargo, and explains it is probable the vessel was unable to obtain a supply from some collieries because they have orders booked months aliead. The Laura is now loading with Abcrdare coal. It 1> understood the Federal Government intends to further inquire into the reporti regarding the alleged coal vend. THE GOVERNMENT INVESTIGATING Received September 211, 12.21 a.m. Melbourne, I-list Night. Replying to a question in the HoiM of the Attorney-General said nis department was investigating I the Laura coal ease.
