GOLF.
A team of nine men from the Stratford Club played a match with the Inglewood Club on the hitter's ground on Thursday afternoon. The greens were in good order, playing very fast, and the weather was all that could be desired. The visitors did not bring their strongest team, while Moody was absent from the local team. The match resulted in a win for the home team bv fi games to 2, one being halved. The Stratford Club will close the season next Thursday afternoon.
