- i THE CENTRE. I By Telegraph.—Press Association. FEILDIXO, Srpt. 25. The annual meeting of the Fielding | centre of the Athletic Union held here decided to recommend the I'nion C»n- 1 ferenee to eliminate from the control of the union all Highland events, such being a continual source of trouble; also to recommend that the North Island Council appoint Veilding as the headquarters, and similar arrangements made in the South Mand, the representatives of the two councils to meet annually in Wellington.
