Bantam-weight—Wennand (New Zealand) beat Robertson (Victoria) Feather-weight—Heggarty (New Zealand) beat Weeks (Tasmania). Bantam—Richardson* (Tasmania) beat King (Xew South Wales). Feather-weight - Fitzsimmons (Xe v South Wales) heat Ronghsedge (Queensland).
Light-weight —Lacey (New South Wales) beat Sutherland (Victoria)O'Sullivan (New South Wales) beat Wnerty (New Zealand). • ™ t ,? r ;«' eight - House (Tasmania) oeat Watchorn (New Zealand); Cume (Victoria) beat McPhee (New South Wales).

In the bantam division. Wennand found a plucky opponent in Robertson, but the New Zealander showed better science, and there was more weight behind his blows, he twice floorino- the Victorian. The judges disagreed" and £ ave decision in favor of Wennand.
In the second bout Richardson prowd altogether too good for the New South Wales representative. In the featherweight, lleggarty and Weeks made things very willing, the lasmaman standing well up to his stronger and cleverer opponent who gained the judge's verdict in great style, the New Zealander in the final will meet a more experienced boxer in Fitzsimmons, who showed clever tactics ana good punishing power, defeating the Queenslander,
In the light-weight, Finnerty proved no match for O'Sullivan, who had the New Zealander beaten from almost the ™,Fi ™ nCr , ty ga , ve "P in th " third round. The bout between Lacey and Sutherland lasted less tjhan half a iound, the Welshman knocking the Victorian out.
In the welter-weight, House and Watchorn proved well matched, the lasmaman gaining the decision after an excellent and consistent battle. Cunie Had an easy victory over MePhec and was declared the winner in the third iound.
In the middle-weight, Gunning easily accounted for Russell, and MidwSod ended a fine bout, knocking Fullalove -mt niter it) seconds' good work. *!■' ,"! 1 ' heav .v-«' l 'lglit Thomson outmatched Nott ami gained the decision oil points. Maldie and Ryan fou<*]i"t gamely. Ryan proved an awkward customer to handle and got sonic hard knocks home on the Victoria.
