Mr. A. Cross, who has been a popular settler of the Opunakc district for tho past twenty years, is about to remove with liis family" l 'to Pukekohe. Oa Thursday afternoon (the Opunakc Times reports) over fifty persons assembled in the Foresters' Hall to bid Mr. Cross farewell. .Mr. Conagleu. who presided, presented the departing settl-;.-with ail illuminated address and also a dressing tusu for Mrs. Cross.
