ATTACK ON JEWS.
20 KILLED AND 1160 INJURED. RUSSIAN POLICE LOOK OS. By Cable.—Pres< .•jßOciation.—CoßyrigM St. Petersburg, September 22. Reactionaries and hooligans pillaged the Jews' quarter an Kieff and killed 20 Jews and wounded 150 seriously and 1000 slightly. The Jews killed three and wounded I? in svlf-defence. The police did not interfere during the attack, which lasted for 72 hours. Two Jewish lads were thrown in ft bonfire. The Governor only summoned the troops in response to the urgent entreaties of a. Jewish deputation. The outbreak was quelled by tho troops in a few hours. No arrests were made.
