By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is Rev. D. C-. Bates 0 weather forecast:—Cool and changeable weather expected, but improving generally. An area of low pressure is now passing eastward of East Cape, and causing showery iveather on the cast coast of the North Island. High pressure of the barometer is expected, although there is still some probability of a short and sharp disturbance in the south before conditions ibeeonie settled. An extensive storm area is in evidence to the south-west of Australia, and may be expected to cause very unsettled weather before and after Tuesday next, espcciallv south of Kawhia and Napier. m- » i
