ENGLISH RUGBY UNION. By Cable.- -Press Association.—Copyright London, September 21. The Hughy Union- has suspended six members of the Coventry Vootlmll Club, including Davey, on a charge of professionalism.
Of the thirty odd "old timers" requested to prepare for battle at the football match at the Recreation firounds mi Thursday of next week, only the undermentioned have seeured certificates of soundness, the remainder having broken down under the strenuous training:— Backs: W. Roeli, W. and .T. Woods, Br. Fooksc, R. Callander, .Mm Clarke. Allan Smart, \V. l'ycroft. Forwards: 0. and W. BradaM, J. Murphv, A. R. Stnndish, \V. Trior, W. J. Smith, J. Way, Clem. Wclwtcr, A. Murphy. A final gallop will lie given on Saturday, after which the team will be definitely selected.
