President Taft, in entertaining at luncheon 50 commercial commissioner:, paid a tribute to Japanese industry and patriotism, and toasted the Mikado as a warm, sincere friend of America. Mr. Taft scouted the idea that there ever had been the slightest danger of trouble between Japan and the United States.
