A BUSHMAN KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Thames, Monday

Thomas Brown, aged 30, was killed instantaneously while working in n kauri bush at Puriri, near the Thame,". Deceased was assisting to cross-cut a log lying on the face of a hill. When tile log was partly cut through a portion broke oil, crushing Brown and dragging him with it. His legs, arm, and neck were broken. Deceased leaves a widow and one child. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned, no blame being attachable to anyone.
