THE RARAWA INQUIRY.
THE COURT'S JURISDICTION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. , Auckland, Saturday, j • Mr. Kettle, S.M., gave his reserved Becision tins morning, holding that the Court had jurisdiction- in the Rarawa enquiry. The Court was satisfied the'e lad been matt rial damage and that the occurrence therefore came under section 133 of the Act, but to enable the parties to refer the question in the Supreme Court, he would defer consideration for ten days. Both sides expressed a desire for the Court to give a decision without delay. Mr. Kettle said be would deliver the decision early next freek.
