Sydney, September 10. The coroner found that Cox, a country visitor to Sydney, died from the effects of poison negligently left by one Dyktor in a bottle in a bedroom at the Arcadia' Hotel. Dyktor has been committed for trial.
[Feeling thirsty during the night, deceased picked up a glass in the dark, filled it with water, and drank it. It transpired that a previous occupant of the room had been experimenting with cynanide of potassium and other chemicals and had left a portion of the mixture in the glass.]
