ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A CONTRACTOR'S DEATH. By Telegrapli.—Press Association. Hamilton, Thursday. John Murphy, a contractor, was found dead in a gully at Tamahcre, with a gunshot wound near the heart. It is understood deceased told his daughter he intended to have a shot before leaving home. Not returning in time to catch the train a search was made and the body found.
A YOUNG MAN KILLED.
Hokitika, Thursday. A young man named McGlonc, wor*ing in McGraths claim, Dillmansto'.vn, was killed instantly this morning by a fall of (debris in a face in which he was working.
