A CHILD POISONED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The three-year-old son of Charles! Luncy, <f Lyttelton, died yesterday morning, from the fllcets of eating some tonic pills which lie got out of a drawer by standing on a chair. Medical evidence went to siiow that the pills contained .strychnine. due was dangerous to a young child and four wmdd he fatal. ■ A verdict I llat death was due to hearL | failure from strychnine accidentally taken was returned.
