The objects which the Bill is intended to effect are:— To constitute a new County of part of the area now comprised in ■the Taranaki County. To alter the boundaries ol the Taranaki County "by excluding therefrom the area comprised in the proposed new County. To merge in the proposed neiv County all Road Districts within the boundaries of such new County. To abolish the jurisdiction of .icy local authority other than Hie Kaitake County Council, over any roads or over or in relation to any matter or thing in respect of ivhich jurisdiction is conferred upon a County Council under ally Act. A copy of tile Bill, together iwith a plan and survey of the areas referred to has been deposited in the Magistrate's, Court at Now Plymouth and is open to public inspection. The objects which the Bill is intended to effect are:— (1) To enable the said Board, subject to the provisions of "The Harbours Act, 1008," from time to time to fill lip and reclaim from the sea the lands described in the First and Second Schedules to the said Bill or any part thereof and to enter into any contract for the execution of any works necessary or expedient in or about the filling up or reclamation of such lands. 2. To vest the said lands in the New Plymouth Harbour Board as an endowment for the purposes for which it is constituted. A copy of the Bill, together with a plan and survey of the lands referred to, has been deposited in the Magistrate's Court at New Plymouth and is open to public inspection.
