N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The New Zealand golf championship meeting, which commences at Cornwall Park links to-morrow, promises to prove highly successful. The fine weather of the past week has imnroved the links, which arc now in excellent condition. Almost COO entries have been received from considerably over a hundred competitors. The entries for the principal events are:—Amateur championship, 80; open championship, 06; foursome 'oojey, 100; bogey handicap, 92; medal handicap, 80;. driving competition, 72; approaching and putting competition, 72. The professional match has attracted six entries, which include the leading players of the Dominion, Clements (of Wanganni), present open champion of New Zealand, being one of .the number. The competitors for the amateur anl open championships include 11. C. Smith, of Dunedin. present amateur champion of New Zealand, and A. C. Duncan, of Wellington, ex-cliampion. NGAMOTU CLUB.
