WAITARA HARBOR BOARD
(From Our Own Correspondent) The monthly meeting of the Waitara Haibour Board was held on' Friday evening. Present: Messrs. Ktubbs (chairman), Spurdle, Ohappell, Jenkins, and Wiison. Aa Mr. Borthwiek intends visiting Waitara the matter was held over until his arrival. , Mr. McGuinness asked for permission to graze a horse i B the reserve on the liver bank. The mutter was left to the chairman to arrange with Mr. M'Guiuness. It was resolved that' the Borough Council bo requested to metal tlie right-of-way behind Mr. Knight's place; also the approach to the wharf, the cost to bo borne by the Harbour Board. Mr. Chappoll moved that immediate steps be taken to reconstruct the bridge on the old cylinders.—lt was agreed that Mr. Chappell's motion be held over | until after the conference between the liarbour Board and the Borough Council has been held, la any case the members were against a bridge being built on the old cylinders. A conference is to be held on Tucsdny evening seat. Accounts amounting to ±'72 4s, Cd. were passed for payment.
