Union issuing an ultimatum that unless the company agreed to an immediate conference with a view to the comiDany withdrawing its application for a Wages Board, the employees be called out at one o'clock to-day. This meant the calling out of the city gasworks employees. Negotiations resulted in the company agreeing to confer with the men next week, the men meantime continuing work.
