AMUSEMENTS.
WEST'S PICTURES. There will be an interesting new departure at the Theatre Royal, New Plymouth, to-night when West's Pic tures will give the Hrs't of a series of circuit entertainments which so far lis New Plymouth are concerned, are to be given every week. The name of West as a* picture entertainer and the reputation of his pictures are such that there will no doubt be a crowded houso to welcome the company buck to New Plymouth. The programme to be submitted will contain a great variety of films, including a line series entitle! 'The life of Napoleon." A large amotion of other subjects are also to be projected upon the screen. Included in the>v will be "Kangaroos v. All Blacks." played in Sydney, "'Venice from a Gondola," and "Bear on the stairs." which go to make very interesting programme. The prices of admission are on a very moderate scale, thus placing this high-class show within the reach of all.
