SALE OF WORK.
The sale of work held at White! \v Mall yesterday afternoon and evening, in aid of the Baptist Foreign Mission Fund, was well attended and good business resulted. A splendid a-sorhneiit of articles, including Ceylon lace, Indian embroidered tea-cloths, bedspreads, handkerchiefs. etc.. was on the stalK -od met with ready sale. Some very iatcesting specimens of fancy woo;l-earvi;i;r in photo frames and llower stands also drew considerable attention. The yoinig people of the church had a. stall 111!-' 1 , with fancy goods, including cushion . dolls, etc. A miniature house, ma'. 1 and furnished by Master Fred Coleman was on this stall, and is a clever pie"".' nf work. The ferns and vegetable sta!', in charge of the boys, did good bus'iw-H. The refreshment stall also had a busv time. Altogether the function was most successful.
