OFFICERS PUNISHED. By Cable.—Press Association.—Opyrigbt Adana, September 8. In connection with the massacres at Ada.ua, Ajevad Beyervali was sentenced to six years' imprisonment and exclusion from the public service, and Rcvnzi Pasha, the military commandant, tn three years imprisonment. The Government acquitted the Armenian patriarch, who resigned as a protest against t'io inadequacy of the sentences and against the sentences of death upon innocent Armenians.
