The French trading schooner Guadalitc drifted ashore at Espiegle Bay, Mollicollo, Hordes of savages butrounded and massacred the crew, consisting of the captain (a Frenchman) and four or five natives. The savages looted the schooner. Details are meagre. The other members of the crew may have escaped to tho bush.
